Welcome to the Year 4 classes

Hello my name is Mrs Chrimes, I am a Year 3 teacher but I am also the Phase Leader for Years 3 and 4. As the Lower Key Stage 2 Phase Leader, my role is to ensure that the teaching and learning is the best that it possibly can be for each and every child in Years 3 and 4 as well as ensuring that each child is thriving with their learning, enjoying school, safe and happy. Motivating and enthusing the Year 3 and 4 teaching teams and working alongside both the teachers and teaching assistants to develop best practice is also a key part of my job. On each class page you will find photographs of the class teacher and teaching assistant/s. There will also be a copy of the transition postcard that was sent home during transition week.

On this page you will also see links throughout the year where learning in each class will be shared and celebrated. 

On PE days children should arrive at school in PE kit and will remain in this throughout the day. Please also remember that reading diaries and book bags (or a small rucksack) should be brought into school every day.
