Year 6

In these unprecedented times where we find schools are closed, we have put together some recommended websites and educational activities for parents to complete with their child. We have provided each child with an exercise book to record their learning and we look forward to making time to share the children’s learning when we return to school.

Please also refer to your year group curriculum map

A number of educational websites have made their content available for home use over the next few months. Many of them have easy to find Year 6 resources that you can use with your child to support their learning from home.

Websites that are currently free to use:

  • Use your Topic Mats (that were distributed before half term) in order to complete the Learning Log: Find out about something related to Brazil that we haven’t yet learnt in school. Can you present this information in an interesting and creative way?
  • Have a look at the iPad challenges and ideas related to Brazil (these can also be done on paper).

We hope you enjoy completing these activities with your child/ren and wish you and your family’s good health over the coming weeks.

Thank you for your continued support,
