Mrs Moran, our Learning to Nurture Manager at Pitmaston, has completed training to become a Triple P Practitioner.  Through the course of the year she has delivered group parenting workshops as well as 1:1 programmes for individual families.

What is Triple P?

The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program ® is one of the world’s most effective parenting programmes.  It works by giving parents the skills to raise confident, healthy children, and to build stronger family relationships. It also helps parents manage misbehaviour and prevent problems occurring in the first place.

The Triple P programme doesn’t tell people how to parent.  Rather, it gives them simple and practical strategies that can be adapted to suit their own values, beliefs and needs. Increasing levels of support can be offered to meet parents’ different needs, from one-off public seminars to more detailed group courses or individual sessions.

How can you access Triple P at Pitmaston?

Through each academic year, Mrs Moran will run a series of three parent workshops. These will be open to all parents in school. Dates will be shared in due course.

Individual Positive Parenting Sessions

If you feel that you would benefit from one to one support in developing effective strategies for dealing with a variety of childhood behavioural and emotional problems, contact the school and ask to speak to Jayne Moran. A personalised programme can then be delivered to meet your individual needs.
