Our Eco Council 2023/24
Pitmaston are very proud to have been awarded the prestigious Eco-Schools Green Flag for all of the eco-projects and themes that are embedded in our teaching and learning throughout the school. The school’s grounds have provided a wealth of resources for outside learning in our Environmental garden and allotment where children grow and harvest their own crops which the children can take home to use in their own meals or sell to staff.
The school also has a 16-member Eco-Council with class representatives from Year 2 to Year 6, that regularly meets to discuss future ideas on how to make our school and local community more environmentally friendly and sustainable.
